Daiko Account Deletion

Last revised:

This page sets out the procedure by which a user may delete a Daiko account, and the treatment of data upon deletion, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Deletion may be carried out at any time within the application. Deletion of a Daiko account does not delete the user's Telegram account.

1. Prerequisites

Deletion removes the Company's records of the user's wallets. Assets remain on the Solana blockchain and can thereafter be accessed only with each wallet's private key. Accordingly, for each wallet created in Daiko that holds any SOL or token account, the user must export and verify the private key before deletion can proceed. Imported wallets, whose private keys the user already holds, and empty wallets require no export.

2. Procedure

  1. In Settings, select Delete Daiko account in the Daiko section. The same item is in the menu that opens from the wallet address.
  2. When prompted, export and verify the private key of each wallet that requires it.
  3. Confirm deletion. Deletion cannot be undone. Upon confirmation, all sessions are terminated and new transactions and withdrawals are blocked. Unsigned transactions and withdrawals are cancelled; those already submitted to the network are permitted to complete.
  4. Approve the removal of each wallet from the wallet key management provider with the passkey.
  5. The Company erases the account data. The application displays the progress until erasure is complete.

3. Data Deleted

  • The Daiko account and public profile.
  • Wallet records, holdings and the full history of transactions, withdrawals and transfers.
  • Sessions and authentication records.

4. Data Retained

  • Transactions recorded on the Solana blockchain are public and permanent and cannot be deleted by any person.
  • Backup copies are deleted within 30 days following deletion.
  • A record that the deletion was completed, which does not identify the user.
  • Comments and replies in token discussions. These are messages in Daiko's Telegram discussion group and are held by Telegram under the user's Telegram account. Upon confirmation of deletion, the user is removed from the discussion group, and the user's messages remain; the user may delete them in Telegram. For chart callouts, the Company keeps each top-level comment's message identifier, time and the token's market capitalization at that time, without its text or author; a callout is no longer displayed once its comment is deleted.

5. Actions That Do Not Delete an Account

Signing out of Telegram or removing the application does not delete the Daiko account or its data.

6. Requests Without Access to the Application

A user who cannot access the application may request deletion by email to support@daiko.ai, stating the Telegram username of the account. The Company will verify the identity of the requester before proceeding. Because removal of a wallet requires approval with the user's passkey, the user may be asked to complete that step on a device that holds the passkey.
